Two decades after a boy drowned at Camp Crystal Lake while the counselors looked the other way, the camp tries to reopen. One by one, the young staff readying the grounds are hunted through the rainy dark by a killer whose grief has curdled into something patient and merciless.

The active Boy Scout camp (est. 1927) that played Camp Crystal Lake — the main setting of the original film. Sand Pond on the property is the lake where young Jason “drowned.” Tours run via Crystal Lake Tours.
